There has been a lot of interest recently about how to translate the
local web pages for OpenOffice. I've been trying to make an easier
way to do this. It is not perfect yet, but I can show you a preview.

Go to: http://www.openoffice.org/xx/

This is a subset of the full openoffice.org website, 38 pages out of
the many thousands of pages we have. But these are the most important
38 pages.

If you translate these 38 pages you will have a website that looks
like the Spanish website:

http://www.openoffice.org/es/

I still need to make some other improvements to this website, some
clean up, some comments, some documentation, etc., to make it easier
for future translators. Right now it is just a directory of HTML
files that you would need to translate. No Pootle.

If anyone wants to help "beta test" this and start translation now, I
can send you the files. I'd then work with you and learn from your
questions how this can be improved.

Is anyone interested in being an "early adopter"? Let me know.

Regards,

-Rob

Hi,
I seem to remember asking for these files before. Doesn't matter, if you please could send them I'll start translating.
Regards,
Pedro.
