We have received lot of requests asking for our OpenOffice's updates.
So we have two questions:
1) How can we build langpacks for all platforms? (we thinks this is
easiest than full builds)
2) How can we update our .sdf file for reusing our work?

Hi, why do you expect to have to produce the builds yourselves? Honestly, there isn't much difference in complexity between full builds and language packs, and at the moment language packs do not contain dictionaries (this is a choice we can fix, see https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=124473 ).

But please do work with the project. You will only care about translation and use the project infrastructure for that. The project will provide builds and you are free to redistribute them.

The latest SDF file we have for Valencian (you were using ca-XV right?) is
http://svn.apache.org/viewvc/openoffice/trunk/extras/l10n/source/ca-XV/

We can import that file (or any more recent materials you have) in our Pootle server at https://translate.apache.org/ and create accounts for you. You will be able to translate either online or offline, with PO files or SDF files.

Please have a look at
https://openoffice.apache.org/translate.html
and
https://wiki.openoffice.org/wiki/Pootle_User_Guide
to get started and know what the next steps are. We look forward to welcoming you back!

Regards,
  Andrea.
