If L4D3 happens, I'd be all about getting back into it. In the mean time,
I've been working in UnrealEngine... which is an interesting departure from
BSP-centric mapping since UE4 relies very heavily on meshes over BSP
brushes. And I've been working on a 2D fighting game using MonoGame and a
copy of Monocle (Towerfall's engine).

It's enough to keep me occupied until Valve decides it wants to do L4D3. I
really don't know if it intends to do so or not. It's pretty obvious that
they're doing just fine financially not continuing Half-Life or L4D3.
DoTA2 seems to be doing pretty well... and the same with their
distribution service. I wouldn't completely discount L4D3 not being made,
however, considering that: 1) Valve isn't a public company, and can do
whatever it damn well pleases, and 2) They've re-invested efforts into
Counter-strike (of all games), so never say never.
