I personally didn't find it rude. The breed did originate in AU.  
Tegan Park and Rutland Manor have done a fine job of attempting to 
produce a breed that can demonstrate certain characteristics and be 
defined as such to create a breed. That is not to say there aren't 
several now here in the U.S. that are also doing a fine job. But, 
there are also a lot of breeders that are jumping on the band wagon 
just to make a few quick bucks. Sometimes you do get what you pay 
for and sometimes you don't. I may not buy my Labradoodle from Tegan 
Park or Rutland Manor, but unless I can feel that the breeder I find 
here closer to home does as good a job, I'll go to AU.
