Hi to both of you and everyone who has been reading this unfolding saga.

To put you all the picture  My name is Milly*   I am English and  I have lived in South Australia now for 32 years I think, I have had 2 Labradoodles one tragically died 11 months ago at the age of 21 months, my present dog is Rupert Bear who will be 1 year old tomorrow , June 3rd, ..[ the land of Oz is almost a day in front, so I'm awake whilst most of you are asleep.]
A little while ago I tried without success to trace the owner of our group as it was becoming obvious she might need some help with our growing list, I am an older woman with plenty of time on my hands so I offered to help moderate this list with her, I wrote to 2-3 different places traced her to a baby group but still without success,  I then contacted Yahoo who advised that all I could do was to keep trying to contact her which I have done, my reason was not in anyway to upset anyone within this group but to ensure that it continued, I have belonged to other lists and left because I started to dislike the content that sometimes arrived, I used to receive  bad mail in one of my groups that stupidly I left open and unmoderated, I would hate that to happen here
So to sum up I opened Mylabradoodle as an offer of a moderated group for you all, if it continues it will be exactly as this one with just a few nice differences like pictures of our dogs on the home page, etc and anyone who I feel that has stepped over the line a little will go on moderation until I have written to them personally , I do not suppose I will be able to stop everything coming thru  the first time, but it won't be without trying.
I am in no way connected to TeaganManor I do not even know who the person is  do you?
I do hope this has helped clear up any confusion
MyLabradoodle will be open for a month or two to see if there is any interest, if not .....well I'll work that one out when I come to it.
Hugs

Subject: [labradoodles] Re: Australian Labradoodles

With all due respect Karen, I must say that I belong to many groups
and have been invited to a lot of them via groups to which I
previously belonged, and I continue to belong to those groups. While
some of those invites said "With the Moderator's permission I'd like
to invite members to join my new group", it was also apparent to
Milly and most of us that there was no longer a moderator for this
group. I was almost ready to leave this group myself many times
because I'd open my mail just to get an advertisement such as on
message 1297 that is inviting me to refinance my home. I've stayed
only because of the great members in this group and the knowledge
I've learned from them. I wish that someone like yourself would take
over the moderator's position. Again, I respect your feelings, but
please don't take offense to Milly's invite. I think there is room
for both Labradoodle groups.
