In pedigree breeds when they cross-bred and developed breeds to establish traits they bred for multiple generations till the traits were established, say like if you bred say an 8 generation Labradoodle to another 8 generation Labradoodle one might have a higher probability of determining the outcome in the litter, and where Labrador or Poodle traits tend to become less relevant where Labradoodle traits become more relevant.   Eddy Safianski Sale Victoria.
