put the crate by your bed. take him
out at night when he asks. if you go out every hour just because you
are creating a monster.
it helps to take away all food and
water two hours before bedtime to help him over night
during the day go out - when you have
a pup that HAS done his 'job' he gets supervised housetime. if he does not -
back in the crate for 15 minutes then try again
use the same door and the same spot in
the yard every time
try hanging bells by the door to ring
with his nose or paw everytime out along with the go potty command or whatever
words you choose. he can learn to ask to go out.
you'll find other tips on my
site www.k9goodies.com/birdwalk as
well as try the info section on www.cockapoos.com
