You might want to research on dog food nutrition.  Whole Dog Journal is a great publication, also there is a great book that I have.  I'll have to email the name tomorrow. Science Diet is one of the worst foods you can feed.

Our Remy is a first generation lab/poodle and so far hasn't had any tummy issues.  She has eaten and passed a few crayons successfully, so I think we're in the clear!  BTW - we feed her Science Diet Puppy Large Breed.
