Excellent leading question :))) This morning's beans, freshly ground for the drip-type maker, Ugandan White Nile (medium roast). Yesterday it was Starbuck's Anniversary blend which I had made a bit too potent; that one is heavy on the dark roast, have to watch that. When the power is out, we put into use the hand grinder fixed to the wall - otherwise decorative (a pretty Delft knockoff) and make perked coffee on the Coleman, or if just for myself, a cup or two with the Bodum press. The latter isn't as efficient - wastes grounds IMO *but* can't be beat for a very fresh caffeinated beverage if you drink it right away. Cold Bodum coffee isn't much fun - though for cold coffee the iced Americano I got from a little 'shop the other day was perfect for the hot afternoon, refreshingly unsweetened. If I need to stay awake I take yerba matte.' Moving on to tea - around mid-morning I make a flask of tea to see me through the rest of the day until evening. Today's brew is Golden Tippy Assam. Usually use loose tea, but also have Tetley's (why-is-it-round) on standby. Evening tea is almost always rooibos. There we are, my life and times with coffee and tea. -- bye for now Bev who regrets very much having missed International Speak Like a Pirate Day, arrrrrh, in Sooke, BC (on Vancouver Island, west coast of Canada) To unsubscribe send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] containing the line: unsubscribe lace-chat [EMAIL PROTECTED] For help, write to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
