Alice did a great job of describing grits.  I'm originally from the
northwest corner of Louisiana.  My mom cooked grits every Sunday for
breakfast. It's great with butter or cheese mixed in it.

On the side, a few years ago, I saw some 'GRITS' merchandise on a kiosk in a
mall in the town I grew up.  The hats and t-shirts had "GRITS - Girls Raised
In The South" on them.
