I use a variation of Jeri's method. Instead of bundling the bobbins together I pin the threads firmly and in their order to the cloth beneath bobbins and thread. Then I bundle the bobbins in the cloth and pin the bundle to the pillow. as Jeri does. It is probably a slower process but a kinder one to spangled midlands bobbins.
