Katrina is 100% right about this for everyone, not just those with an existing condition. It's also important to get up and move around when tatting, crocheting, knitting or making any other sort of lace. My trick for doing this is to combine the need to get up with the advice to drink more water. I put a large glass of cold water in easy reach. This encourages me to drink it, with the inevitable result that I have to get up after a while. Every time I get up, I refill the glass. This results in a little virtuous circle of not sitting in one place for more than 2 hours and drinking more water - definitely needed in UK this week where we've been hovering just under our highest recorded temperature ever. -- I am logged in, therefore I am.
