I have printed a copy and placed it in my book by Peter Collingwood: "The Techniques of Sprang". This garment is listed in the Introduction - History section, and a description of how it would have been made is in the Methods of Finishing Chapter - under Making Two Fabrics (which contains only line drawings). It is wonderful to have such a wonderful photo.
