This is a good solution. It does create a situation where the person who mounts a piece of lace is taking additional risk. It is comparable to the situation that I faced when taking the driving exam in my teens. One of the incentives to use the driving instructor's car was that it was an automatic and you would not be judged on "clutch control" which you would be if you took the test on a manual car. Thus it was considered madness to take the test on a manual car even though that was the kind of car my parents had, and that I would be driving. Of course, no system is going to be perfect. Devon
