This would make a "cartoon" for a lace publication. We could raise our right hand and extend index (pointer) and middle fingers. Then shake the index and middle fingers of the lace person facing us! However, we are usually carrying a large tote bag, purse, portable table, umbrella, etc. which would make this amusingly awkward.
