Many of my bookmarks are made for a specific purpose and given away. I
often keep one of a style and put it on my demo display board.

No matter how many I make, it seems like I'm always short of one when I
have an occasion to use one as a gift. Storage is not a problem. The
rare time I have an extra that's not on the display board, it usually
hangs on my lacemaking lamp until needed. The lamp has a horizontal
section that's great to hang things on. Either Christmas ornament hooks
or paper clips can be shaped to fit on the bar. Frequently, it's the
rejects that end up there. Too good to throw away, but not good enough
to give away. These sometimes actually end up in a book I'm reading.

There are a few bookmarks in a bag of lace items that I take to demos, to
go with the display board. If I have a table to lay things on, the items
in the bag get spread out. If there's no table, then the display board
stands by itself.

Alice in Oregon.....Counting down to IOLI...only 12 days to finish
getting ready.
