Hi Miriam and everyone

Fun questions!
Bookmarks are a nice project for bobbin lace. They don't take long and one
pattern can be made variously. As it happens, one of my favourite patterns
is a Torchon design by Miriam which we published in Canadian Lacemaker
Gazette a while back. I made probably a dozen in all sorts of colours, some
were tucked into greeting cards for friends and family, and the rest found
their way into a small photo album, that had clear slots on several pages to
store negatives - perfect size for a bookmark.

Now that I think of it, I used variegated threads in some of the bookmarks,
and I'll post a photo re the topic we had recently of using variegated
threads.

At this time, if I make a bookmark and it isn't a gift, it goes right away
into a book, as is without a plastic sleeve.
