I store the ones I get from other lacemakers in my china cabinet. Those in plastic holders stand in the back of the shelf and others are under small items that I collect, such as silver spoons. I love the fine hairpin one made by Diane Williams. I have a number of sample ones from a recent beginner class I taught and have another one on my pillow that I will demo how to do the ending and make the tassel this coming Saturday. I have been told that one of my students has now made four of them and is on to something new. I guess she is hooked. Good job some of our guild members are nearer to her for guidance.
I also usually have a bookmark pinned to my demo pillow so that viewers can handle the lace rather than the lace I am working on. Off to convention a week on Saturday.
