Hello All! Well I thought I knew what I was doing--but not so! I have a spider sampler pattern that is drawn for coton perle 8 & I would like to substitute Anchor Freccia 12. The label says 3-ply crochet thread & the Coats site says it is 100% Egyptian cotton. The project needs a firmer, less stretchy thread than the perle & the Freccia colors are divine so I bought three balls. Checking Brenda's book, I didn't see it listed but maybe it's an established product with a new name? Similar to something else listed? Has anyone used this thread?
