Anchor Freccia is in Addendum 5
http://paternoster.orpheusweb.co.uk/threads/add5.html
size 12 measured 12 wraps/cm; size 16 was 16 wraps/cm.

Freccio filo di Scozia probably is just the Italian packaging of Freccia. A
difference of 1 wrap/cm, even for fairly thick threads, doesn't make that much
difference. Cotton is a natural thread and I measured the two threads on
different days.

Coats and Anchor are two of many brand names brand names manufactured by Coats
plc.
for the history of the company and thus a list of all the brands and factory
locations around the world see

Opera is/was a similar thread to Freccia, but it came in different sizes, 5,
10, 20 and 30.
They are both 3 ply which does make them firmer than 2 ply perle, but are Z
spun whereas most (all) perles are S spun.
