Hi All,

There used to be a Church Sew List a number of years ago and we were able to
learn lots from that list.

Most of the church lace I do is filet crochet and the fabric distributed by
Church Stores in Sydney is called 'sharella' which is not linen, so does not
put up some of those problems - washes very well. It is hard to get best
quality lighter weight fabric for the smaller linens. I have a blocking board
covered by woven chech fabric which makes blocking crochet easier.

I have a length of a torchon edge, pattern from Marie-Clare Downham's book, is
worked in DMC 30, no destination as yet.

Any conversation about Ecclesiastical work is interesting to me.
