Catherine mentioned the extortionate prices some secondhand booksellers are
asking. They might be asking those prices, but does anyone in their right
mind actually pay what they ask?
When I see those prices, I get quiet satisfaction thinking that they've
still got the book when they could have a reasonable sum for it if they
asked a reasonable price. Which will feed and clothe them - book or money?
