That is a very interesting thought. I love that we have such wonderful lace makers on this list that point out things such as this. Currently I am working on the Russian Lace Making motif. So far this has been a huge learning lesson for me. Number one..... do not use spangled bobbins. Sad to say I never gave it a thought about the sewing and weaving of the areas. Now I know better.
One thing about lace - we never stop learning things!
