To right Liz and Jean, enjoy it! I got one of my students who had very
arthritic hands to work with berry pins -the large ones with the glass or
plastic tops- and we spangled Maltese bobbins for her so she could carry on
making lace. She was making lace and happy to do it any way she could.

I know picking up bobbins by their spangles in frowned upon, but if it is
the only way you can work - well, go on doing it. Making lace is so much
better than Not making lace!!!!!!!!!
