Was just looking through Quub's (a self-professed Micro-Presence service) "About Us" section: https://quub.com/about They bring up some good points about how micro-presence differs from micro-blogging. They highlight the privacy impact of geo-location and propose to mitigate this with only approved friends/followers being able to access this information. Perhaps Laconica should support two levels of followers, those that are approved and those that are not, and that geo-location should only be available to the latter?
