I confirm that with OpenOffice, I can use external entities to split
grammar.xml and disambiguation.xml. I must use the full path. Example:

s/cache/uno_packages/sv6ciw.tmp_/LanguageTool-2.3.oxt/org/languagetool/resou

It's in the OO/LO settings directory in your home directory. The path 
has a random string in it, so the easiest thing is to search for the 
file "grammar.xml".

Just replacing the files should work, as it does for the stand-alone
