Posting from my Dell 8600C with 2200BG :) Though I had to add an entry to /etc/driver_aliases to recognise my card:
iwi "pci8086,2722" Also had some initial confusion with using inetmenu trying to configure a static address and using DNS. I thought you could just add the extra parameters from SAMPLE to defaults in /etc/inetmenu but subsequently running inetmenu and selecting Static-Address would remove /etc/resolv.conf, copy /etc/nsswitch.files over /etc/nsswitch.conf and not put in a default route. Then I copied the SAMPLE to another file, changed the values to what I needed and after selecting the new entry in inetmenu, everything was hunky-dory. Nice work folks!
