HI, I have installed lazarus on suse 9.3 one month ago thereofre I do not remember all the filenames. Sorry but:
-- There were many symbolic links that were missing. if you look in the folder: /opt/gnome.lib you see that all the libraries are there, except that they yave an extension like "libxxx.so.1" if I remember well I added some links "libxxx.so" --> "libxxx.so.1" -- Also I see that I have the link: /usr/local/lib/libglib1.2.so.0 -> /opt/gnome/lib/"libglib1.2.so.0.0.10 I can not tell you the details however. It was one month ago now and I did not take any notes this time! Good Luck Alain p.s. I am assuming that you are installing a compiled version. If you are trying to compile then it is more difficult.
