But, guys, I'm really thankful to you guys who have done the amazing
efforts (and good priority choice) in native look stuffs (especialy
GTK2 ;-))
I can be wrong, but IMO most developers just need to be able to build
softwares that just 'fit' into the user's graphical environment.
Softwares that have the same behaviours defined by the window manager
that their users choosed to use... and are used to use ;-)

Actually, as of today I haven't use Lazarus to build apps for customers
(not the Lazarus/fpc's fault), but most users and customers I met just
want standardized apps (look, and... feel!) so they don't have to learn
how to use this flashy and unusual open file dlg. Nor this 'metalic' and
so particular java thing.

I understand and I know that some customer need specific look & feel.
More than their logo in a splash-screen.

But, hey guys... IMO both point of view are ok! both look&feel useful.
It depends of your user's needs. And as a developer, the more choice the
better. Thanks to FPC, Lazarus... to you!

So, native look&feel as the very first priority is a good choice.
Specific ones are welcome, as they can be very usefull in some
contexts.

Lazarus... what a rich and wonderful world!!

keep on...
