I created a disk image using Disk Utility to do a quick test, and got the same result: $ sudo /usr/sbin/vsdbutil -a "/Volumes/Disk Image"/ $ sudo /usr/sbin/vsdbutil -c "/Volumes/Disk Image"/ No entry found for '/Volumes/Disk Image/'. Perhaps this is a problem with my system. Can you point me somewhere that may have information about this? I am not convinced that the file permissions are not being stored... Is there an alternative to vsdbutil that I can try? The man page says it is depreciated.
