I disagree. We have been told by our leaders to do certain things to help protect our families from pornography. Elder Oaks stated several things in his last conference talk. Dansguardian (http://dansguardian.org) does exactly that. I don't have a family yet, but I do control the Internet access to my apartment, and all port 80 web browsing goes through dansguardian running on a linux box set up as a transparent proxy. It works very well and can be set to log either everything or only denied sites. I worked for a school district in Arizona where we used it and found it to be very effective even on a large scale. The only way around dans is by using a proxy, but one of its options is to block sites that would give information about proxies. :) Check it out - I think you'll be very pleased. I have been.
