While I am in complete agreement with your aims, I also feel that any
contribution to a decent Free Software project is also of great
importance in building the kingdom. You can read some of my thoughts on
the matter at:

But to summarize and rephrase, Free Software such as operating systems,
web servers, programming languages, and numerous other useful
applications are already being used by the Church and its members. The
whole idea of Zion is about working together to build every aspect of
our community. Applications that serve a useful purpose are very
important in this regard.

In saying this I don't mean to demean any of the projects that are more
directly related to the Church or its goals; I simply mean to point out
that our vision should be wider than such a specific class of programs.
