applications are already being used by the Church and its members. The
whole idea of Zion is about working together to build every aspect of
our community. Applications that serve a useful purpose are very
important in this regard.
I agree. Working at the Church has made me realize just how much the
Church benefits from technology. I believe the Lord plants useful ideas
and solutions in the mind of anyone with a righteous intent and a hard
working attitude. As a result, the Church doesn't have to develop
everything itself and it saves a lot of tithing dollars. ;-)
Some benefits are surprising. Ever since I installed MythTV, my family
only bothers to watch quality programs, giving us more time to spend
together. Credit for a slightly better family goes to the MythTV
developers!
