Now available at http://leaf.sourceforge.net/devel/wolffang/kernel_2.4.5 is
my compiled and tested 2.4.5 kernel.

>From the readme file I placed there:

This directory contains everything you'll need to get started with kernel
2.4.5 under the Oxygen May 2001 release.

Files:
kern24x.lrp - This file needs to be merged with the default root.lrp on the
Oxygen May 2001 boot disk. It changes and adds files needed to boot a 2.4
kernel.

linux - This is a replacement kernel image. It is Linux 2.4.5 with IDE
support
and the grsecurity patch from http://www.getrewted.net. It is UPX compressed
to 506KB in size.

linux245-grsecurity.tar.gz - This file contains all the modules I compiled
for
this kernel as well as the patches I used and the above kernel image. I have
not tested most of the modules, but they should all work. They require the
insmod binary from the kern24x.lrp package in order to load.

Please test this and let me know what you think. I can compile the kernel
with different options, but everything should be available by modules. In
order to get these files on the disk boot disk, I had to remove the ipchains
package and the ncurses package, but you should be able to squeeze it on
without too much problem.

Also available is my iptables.lrp package. This is iptables 1.2.2 compiled
against the 2.4.5 source tree. It's at
http://leaf.sourceforge.net/devel/wolffang/packages. I've been using this
package for a while, and it's working good for me.
