Use either a regular cable to a regular port on the hub or a cross-over cable to the uplink port on the hub. The uplink port is wired in the cross-over cable configuration, so it would replace the need for a cross-over cable when cascading hubs/switches. Sounds like the configuration of the desktop computer isn't right to me. -- ~Lynn Avants aka Guitarlynn guitarlynn at users.sourceforge.net http://leaf.sourceforge.net If linux isn't the answer, you've probably got the wrong question! _______________________________________________ Leaf-user mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/leaf-user
