This thoroughly annoyed me:

Well, it thoroughly cheered me.
We may or may not go up this year, but I would much rather do it playing
exciting, Max & Snoddy football than trying to grind our way up George Graham
style.
And, much as I dislike Bates, LUFC are currently doing an excellent impression
of a very well run financially stable club. I am perfectly happy with the
approach Bates & Grayson are taking towards this loan market, ie not getting
people in for the sake of it (I've got a mate who is a Derby
fan.............they've got 2 strikers on loan who are not good enough to get
into the starting line-ups at Preston & Sheff Utd!), but holding out for the
kind of player who PL clubs are actually reluctant to let go because they are
too good.
