Maybe left was a bad choice. In fact it was. But there is a level of liberal activism which is effecting policies and actions in lots of spheres and walks of life. I am against it. Not because of the views that are forwarded but that the minute judiciary 'interfere' then the judiciary will be interfered with. And that is catastrophic. They must never loose their judicial independence. The same goes for journalism. A long way from the riots but the point I was making is that the police and rioters action are all influenced by new judicial norms. That is why what, for me, is massive presence and apparently little effect.
