They can't do ppv as they rely on people subscribing and forgetting about it.
If it was a conscious choice every game they would be bankrupt.
I resubbed for first time in a while because we were on so many times but when
monday night is norwich sunderland or wigan, swansea etc... Are playing I have
no interest. Don't mind the super sundays when the so called bigger teams play
as there is usually a bit of edge or something memorable happens e.g 8-2.
Also I got espn free for a 3 months too so have watched a bit of US sports.

.....years ago, i used to have the Sky Sports package (and the movies) but
found that LUFC and the other top 4-6 club matches apart, I barely watched even
25% of what was on.
They should do just PPV at a reasonable price for all games and scrap packages
- but no doubt the marketing gurus have worked out that that doesn't bring in
as much.
Then again, my level of disillusionment on football is significant these days
and am probably not typical (LUFC games apart).
