I recently rang Sky to unsubscribe from Sky Sports.
The call centre guy tried to get me to change my mind, when I didn't, he put me
on hold to speak to his supervisor.
He came back with a better offer, 20% off my total monthly bill and sports for
only £1.50 a month and no additional 12 month contract.
Result, a reduction of 14 quid a month and the same full package as before.

It is worth ringing them up and re-negotiating.
