My local NFL team had an open stock share purchase option this week starting on
Wednesday. Each single stock was sold for $250 and the purchaser received a
single sheet of paper with the actual share having NO value, no voting
privilege...nada....nothing. In less than 48 hours the club has sold 185,000
shares clearing over $43 million dollars in revenue for the team.
F'ing amazing....
The Green Bay Packer season ticket waiting list is 81,000 at the current rate
of turnover the waiting time is 30 YEARS. I have co-workers who enroll their
children at birth.
