Peter,

Are you seriously saying you have no idea who owns ER? GFH has said a priority
is buying back ER and TA and coincidentally Bates gets to stay.

Would you invest in bricks and mortar for a property you didn't own? Our money
has been used to develop facilities which can now be sold at a better price to
GFH.

Fair points to raise Rev, and make good sense... I'd like to know plans
for Thorpe Arch et cetera, and who owns ER, as we all would.

The bit that still sticks in my craw is "Bates' vow to destroy everything
that is Leeds United, and won't rest until that is complete..." And, he's
still there after the takeover...

It's the nagging psychotic schizophrenic bloke over my left shoulder that
won't go away, and keeps saying "haha - he's still there pal, what are you
going to do about him? He's gonna bring your club down - you know that
don't you??? "

Am I alone with this ? Dr Mike?

In essence, there is so much uncertainty at the moment, how the hell is any
fair-minded fan going to:
trump up money to watch dross on the field;
pay for a season ticket; or
buy an overpriced out-of-date shirt?

We need information, and we need it this month.

Fair points Nigel. I thought Bates was being kept on to re-assure GFH that
there were no skeletons in the closet and if any should pop out in the
short-term then Beast will still be around. That in itself makes you wonder
how robust the whole thing has been, but I wouldn't blame anyone for not
trusting el Presidente!
As for getting rid of Bates for good - that's a pipe dream, so get over it.
It seems clear that having him around was a condition of the sale, so we
just have to hope that they push him out of the day to day running of the
club (and all our minds) ASAP...
