I don't care who you have at your disposal. You tell the players your
football philosophy and tactics. Whether they are good enough is another
question. I cannot imagine someone like Martinez tolerating players
treating the ball like it was a ticking time bomb to immediately boot up
field as soon as it's within kicking distance of them. BMD is allowing
this type of football to be played. I'm not looking for us to
immediately become Arsenal or the Barcelona "B" team but when other
Championship outfits are playing us off the park then I have an issue.
If
I was BMD I'd say..."if you continue to boot the ball and can't trap it
and pass it to a team mate then go rot in the reserves".
What are coaches for and practice sessions? Geez, pretty soon we will be
tolerating toe punting!
