I suppose it all depends on the situation. Saturday a great 3 4 game would have
made me happier than grinding out a point that we do not need.Of course if we
ever need a point to go up / stay up etc then yes, park the bus and just keep
the ball in our own half for 90mins.
I would rather us win 1 0, draw 0 0, win 1 0 etc next season and be top of the
League than have us bottom by losing 4 3 every week. So yes, for me the result
is everything, but like most fans I want it all, I want us to win but to win
with a bit of style and panache.
I would love to see us rip a few teams apart between now and the end of the
season winning 3 and 4 0, but I am sure if we won every game 4 0 and knew
beforehand that we would win like that it would soon be boring.
Saturday on reflection was not that bad a game it was just that nothing
exciting happened in the area. We had some decent flowing moves that just
fizzled out when we got near goal. My mates want Redfearn sacking but I think
he deserves a proper shot at it, but only if he can add a bit of umph to it all
between now and the end of the season. I want him to prove that he has got what
it takes. I also want to see if Adryan and Montengro have anything to offer and
to see if Dawson, Philips and Walters are anywhere near good enough to start
next season

So Dave, would you prefer to be at a hell for leather game full of excitement
where we get beat 4-3 or a dull boring match like Satdi, where we get a point?
