At left back, I would say his first cover move would be Berardi across and Wootton in on the right, though I would rather Cooper straight in (better to just disrupt one side than both). There's a youth lad, Denton, who seems well regarded.
My one concern on getting more cover in at full backs is Denton on the left and Coyle on the right seem like prospects - if we get more cover in you risk demotivating those young players by shoving them further down the pecking order and making the first team seem too far away. By contrast we don't really seem to have any young wingers knocking on the door (Walters seems to have dropped away a bit in pre-season). Alternative of course is to get more cover in and then send Coyle and Denton out on loan - but that bloats your squad.
