If we are blaming people for those results, I’d be looking at Meslier again.
Portsmouth he lets a shot straight at him in, Burnley - yes Solomon slips but Meslier’s position is awful - why is he stood on his six yard line?, Norwich - yes Rodon conceded the pen but I’d have saved it and I’m nearly 50 with a bad back! Yesterday was unforgivable. He’s a liability, his distribution is poor and the majority of the shots he faces go in. I’d have binned him two years ago. And yeah Meslier, something weird happened on the spin / flight of that ball… But it’s team sport and if we are blaming him for costing us 2 points last night, then we are also blaming Aaronson for the 2 points lost against Portsmouth, Solomon for the 2 (at least) lost against Burnley, and Rodon against Norwich.
