hey mac!...your suggestion has possibilities...but I would not want to get involved with making split nuts for some of the more complicated set-ups legacy made... namely, that hinged thing...if it was just the block that, seems to be the more common split nut that legacy used, that might doable...I just ordered the material I need to make about 16 pieces and will most likely be attempting this work tomorrow, which will give me a good idea as to the labor involved...stay tuned...joe b....p.s. painting would be extra!
