In my family, in Norway, some died in November and buried in May. They had two ceremonies but 'fixed' the data. I have it set at 30 days and check the PP. Rich in LA CA

However I did uncheck the box under Problems that says "Event/Fact date after burial date" and that solves the problem. I hesitate to do it in case I do actually mistakenly enter a valid problem after a death date. Dennis, >It sounds like you entered the burial as an Event/Fact instead of as >the standard Burial event. There's a difference? Are you suggesting that I should have chosen "Burial" from the list of Events first before entering Burial notes? If so, I plead laziness as it's far easier and faster to type Burial once, then Bur ever after that, rather than scan a huge long list of event names. Wonder if this is what caused the problem. Using the "Exclude from potential problems" would negate the purpose of this function and I hesitate to use it in case there are other problems with a person's entry. I'd much rather not use the Exclude function and plough through a long list of "Event after Death" problems, knowing that absolutely everything had been checked out. I know, I can't have it both ways but better to err on the safer side. >Or enter the burial info in the place Legacy expects to find it. It's in the Notes section in the Events screen. Should I have put the burial info somewhere else?
