The standard answer to this type of questions is "It's your choice"!

There are "splitters" who prefer the first example and there are
"lumpers" who prefer the second.  Personally I am a lumper and I believe
that is better database practice  Few Master Sources means less
repetition of data, less scope for error, less disk space used.
