Deleting the Legacy2.usr file didn’t resolve the problem for me. On re-starting
Legacy, the problem remained.

Not in the GR. The bug was probably fixed in the latest Beta.
After deleting the legacy2.usr file legacy will work ok but after a restart the
problem is back (for the users who have this problem) in the GR.

I haven’t seen this problem with any of the installations of Legacy v7.4 I have
on my computer at home and my laptop, but some of the beta testers have
reported it. They found out if you close Legacy and go to the c:\Legacy folder
to delete the Legacy2.usr file the problem will be solved.

The Legacy2.usr file will be regenerated when you go back into Legacy.

Hopefully the programmers will figure out why this is happening and be able to
fix it so those of you with the problem don’t have to reset that file.

Thanks for using Legacy.

My findings are the same as Dale's with the addition that you can also get the
larger pop-up by going to the Pedigree View and returning to Family View.
Again, this is only persistent for the current session.

Lionel,
What I'm experiencing looks just like the image of Jennifer's problem. In my
previous posting I indicated that my experimenting revealed that the behavior
seemed to occur when the program opened in a maximized window state. The
solution, I pointed out, was to "Restore Down" the window (by clicking the
middle of the three icons in the upper right corner of the program window).
What I've since discovered is that the 'squished pop-up window' behavior
returns regardless of the size to which the program opens. The simple solution,
however, remains the same. That is, change the size of the window by either
maximizing or restoring down - whichever case is appropriate. The pop-up window
seems then to display normally for the remainder of the session.
