Thanks, Ron.  It works pretty much the same in MS Word.  The correct
page numbers can easily be inserted but if extensive changes and/or
modifications are made to included notes, the index of names will not
show the correct page numbers.  I was hoping that the edited ancestor
report could be brought back into Legacy which could then generate a
new index.  I guess the only way would be to manually correct the
index and then use the place holder for the new ancestor report, or
edit the individual notes from within Legacy.  If I edit the notes, I
suppose I could selectively choose which notes to print.
